Hey Guys!
How are you?
Here I want to help you on how to do the third part of the speaking test. Indeed, it is a complicated phase of the test. However, you are able to score well on this part.
As a matter of fact, this part just lasts for short 2 minutes. So Cambridge was not unfair.
Fine, but, what can you do to work your skills out?
Well, first of all, remember that a context is going to be talking to you. So, you are not lost. Moving forward to our first example. Here goes the context:
Example 01: A woman enjoys doing sports, on her free days she likes to try something different from what she has already made. For this holiday she would like to know what activity will she choose to do first.
Ok, now we are not lost at all. We know who is our main character and we know what she wants. So let’s talk about it for two minutes, right?
Firstly, you can start using some information that the interlocutor gave away. I would start saying:
One key here is always to ask questions at the end of your statements.
It is great for your teammate because he/she will be able to think about it. As far as you say what is next.
Secondly, you should use a NEGATIVE form to escape from a question you do not know how to argue. For example:
Therefore, you can argue about something. You are able to use this to your advantage and talk about something that you know how to talk about. This is the important factor here.
PS. Use my sentence above to your advantage, it will work in any given situation.
Thirdly, you need to finish and say which one would be better for her. For this use this two sentences:
That is it! Using these words you are able to finish the speaking part 3 test.
However, we can have different situations, so here are 3 more examples:
A family is planning their trip to a city, and they would like to decide where would they may do first there. You need to help them to decide.
A woman is going to travel to London. She only has a backpack and she needs to decide what she will bring with her. You need to help her to decide what she will need to bring.
Five students had problems with the car. Although there are going to be late, there are some activities they could do. Which do you think would they make on time to participate?
You are able to do all the tests and also find out more as our Listening 15 and also our Listening 05.
PS. you are also able to create contexts different from the ones presented here in these examples. This way you can train in different situations.
